The
installation directly illuminates the struggles of mental health instability in
growing up within this modern world. It is intended to visually conceptualize
how depression may infest one’s mind throughout life. The infant figure is seen
in a fetal position with their head cocked into their chest whilst the
accompanying adult figure is seen without the presence of a head. This
indicates how victims of depression perception of themselves and life change
due to the limitations of their disorder.
