       The series of embroidered photographs showcase the correlation of the human senses to personal memories. Each photograph was taken from a personal family photo album and provided itself as a base for embroidery.  The series was inspired by the experiences through each generation of my family and how the perception of a memory is manipulated through time.  The embroidered floss weaves the reality of the past and implements the newly articulated feelings of the present to the showcased scene.
