Artwork 5 Repeat   Title: “Repeat” Date:   2017 Dimension: 80 x 80 cm Duration: 30 second video (on loop) Media: Digital Animation, Papier Mache, Wood and Found Objects The projected stop-motion animation showcases the instantaneous explosion of emotions against the societal pressures within our social media infested lives. The hand drawn figure is animated with confusion and anger in response what it is hearing through the vibrantly color earphones. The earphone attached to the projected base symbolizes how subliminal messages from society are masked through social media. Note that they are not plugged into anything as this refers to how the surrounding environment is the detrimental media itself. Work in Progress
